Telran
Telran is the homeworld of the Telrani species, located in the Luyten’s Star system. Originally engineered by the Garapr’seen as a companion Garden Node to Prose, Telran experienced ecological decline for centuries until the Awakening on the continent of Zokena, which restored the world’s biosphere almost overnight.
Telran is now recognized as a fully functioning Garden Node, with driftblooms, ancient flora, and harmonic ecosystems once again active.
Overview
Telran is a lush world with:
- warm and temperate regions
- rich valleys and terraced highlands
- sacred driftbloom groves
- strong harmonic fields linked to the Flow Network
Before the Awakening, Telran suffered from:
- barren regions
- soil collapse
- plant extinctions
- driftbloom scarcity
The Awakening reversed all of these conditions.
Physical Characteristics
- Diameter: Earth-like
- Gravity: Slightly lower than Prose
- Atmosphere: Oxygen-rich, stable
- Moons: One irregular moon (unnamed)
- Dominant biomes: Forest, steppe, highland terrace, coastal plains
Telran’s ecosystems are tuned to harmonics and respond strongly to Flow Network pulses.
History
Garapr’seen Era
Telran was constructed as:
- a Garden Node for biodiversity
- a sister-world to Prose
- a repository for driftbloom seedbanks
- a testing ground for harmonically-aligned agriculture
Ancient Telrani culture preserved fragments of Garapr’seen ecology through oral traditions.
Decline
Over millennia, the Flow Network quieted. Zokena became barren, driftblooms dwindled, and the planet’s terraforming systems stalled.
Awakening
During the events of The Lost Kin of Luyten:
- the activation Path was discovered on Zokena
- driftblooms received a harmonic signal
- ancient plant genomes de-compressed
- soil chemistry rebalanced
- the entire continent rapidly transformed from wasteland to Garden Node
This Awakening restored Telran’s climate stability and biodiversity.
Culture
The Telrani maintain:
- harmonic meditation practices (Breath Rites)
- ecological stewardship
- reverence for driftblooms
- oral histories tied to ancient prophecy
- a Council of Elders overseeing governance
Telran’s culture emphasizes balance, humility, and continuity.
Relationship with Prose
Telran and Prose share:
- genetic ancestry (Prosians and Telrani)
- driftbloom ecosystems
- interwoven histories
- Garapr’seen origins
Telrani delegates traveled to Prose in *Jenekti* to aid in interpreting the Flow Network and driftbloom awakening, remaining through *Narosi* and *Larokosi*.
Role in the Flow Network
Telran is a fully active Garden Node world:
- driftblooms act as world-seeders
- ancient fruits reappear
- harmonic fields stabilize climate
- Telrani Elders interpret resonance patterns
Telran and Prose together anchor the reawakening Flow Network.
