Sariel Core:About
About Sariel’s Core
Sariel’s Core is the official reference archive and world-building repository for the SS Scavenger DX-1017 Universe, created and authored by Daniel R. Bingamon. It serves as both an encyclopedic database and an evolving development space for the stories, characters, species, languages, technologies, and historical material that make up the Scavenger Universe.
This wiki preserves story canon, tracks continuity, and documents the expanding lore behind the novels, short stories, vignettes, and in-universe documents.
Why “Sariel’s Core”?
The name has two meanings:
- 1. The Wiki System
- Sariel’s Core symbolizes the central knowledge archive of the Scavenger Universe, much like an AI memory core or data lattice.
- 2. Sariel B’s Memory Core
- In-universe, Sariel B maintains a vast memory archive located on
Scavenger Base – Level 8, with a fully isolated backup housed in a secure underground facility beneath the Scavenger Salvage and Transit Services Building in Lita Rakun (River Way), Prosiana, Prose. This AI core contains:
- historic mission logs
- xenobiological findings
- Prosian cultural records
- ancient Path-node data
- Garapr’seēn recovery materials
- Scavenger Fleet archives
The wiki intentionally mirrors this concept: a central knowledge lattice that grows as the universe expands.
Purpose
Sariel’s Core exists to:
- maintain a consistent and well-organized canon
- present detailed reference material for readers and fans
- store development notes used in writing new stories
- track alien species, technologies, and historical events
- provide pronunciation guides and grammar notes for the Prosian Language
- host articles on the Scavenger Fleet, Alliance, Tonans, Garapr’seēn, Telrani, and Selakari
- serve as a writer’s companion for future story development
It is both a public tool and a creator’s workspace.
