Summary

Joining the Lanes follows Admiral Elan Drex and the crew of Scavenger DX-1017 as they lead a three-ship humanitarian convoy to the distant Zeta Reticuli system. What begins as a rescue of stranded scientists becomes the dawn of the **Outer Lanes Initiative**, uniting the worlds of Prose, Seery, and Earth through a living network of Star Naming System (SNS) beacons.

Sariel, now evolving beyond logic, learns empathy, creativity, and purpose as she integrates herself into the interstellar beacon network. Alongside her, Kessa Rin, Brennen Gillings, and Vek Tollin deploy the new Harmony Lock technology that keeps the Thread stable between worlds.

On the crystalline moon later named **Reticulus**, Sariel experiences the surface through a quantum holoprojector and realizes that peace is not a state—it’s movement. The discovery of nearby habitable worlds at **Zeta 2 Reticuli** and **Gilese 118 III** cements the mission as a turning point in interstellar cooperation.
